Chris wandered into the back of the store. He broke a lock off the door and entered into the back room. Looking around he saw several gun lockers each labeled with what it contained. He picked the one labeled 'Shotguns', forced it open, and pulled out two semi-autos. He opened the locker's bottom door and grabbed a few cases of spare shells. Chris walked back into the front of the store and passed a shotgun to Leon and shot gun shells to both Leon and Billy. "I'll be right back, I'm gunna go search for ammo for my sniper and hand gun..." He returned to the back room and began his search, busting open lockers and breaking locks. After five or ten mintues he'd found all he needed. As Chris turned to leave the room something caught his eye. A stain on the desk beside him. Not much, but he stopped to investigate. "Hey Leon!" he called out. "Come back here a sec. I think I found blood..."

Leon followed billy, chris maydbe a second behind him. The hunting store they found was neat. maybe a bit to neat. Again no people, nothing overturned, just empty like its never been touched. leon walked over to a wall full of displayed weapons and took off a combat knife with its sheat. "Funny thing to find in a hunting store. I think Umbrella was a bit hasty when they put this thing together."
Shrugging he strapped the knife's sheat against his leg for easy reach.
He took the shotgun from Chris and put the shell's in his fanny pack. "Pump-action, nice... Billy, you done changing yet??"
As Chris called out for him he turned. Everything he saw moved in slow motion for a second. As the word blood left Chris' mouth a shadow moved from behind a shelf. Not being able to get a clear shot with Chris in front of it, leon started a small sprint. He jumped, shoved Chris out of the way and unsheated his knife. While sliding he cut the zombie's ankle making it fall face down to the ground.
Leon jumped up and thew the cash register off the counter onto it's head.
"Guess Umbrella really is back??" he said grinning. He was going to love this.

When changing Billy accidently drops his lighter, when crouching to pick it up he spots something shiney.
"Hmm this might come in handy"
After changing, Billy walks up to Leon as he's looking at a wall full of weapons.
As he slightly barks a laugh: "Ye you're right Leon, Umbrella fucking up is actually helping us for a change."
Looking at the wall himself he sees all kinds of military issued guns that are in contrast to the hunting rifles in the display window.
"Well it would be a shame to let this all go to waste." and he takes a beretta handgun of the wall, tucks it in his backpocket and looks for some bullets.
"btw does any of you two have reach with a cellphone or anything?"
After finding some bullets Leon sprints by and slides...
Billy, after grabbing his gun, scans the store for movement before holstering it again.
"Good thing THAT wasn't in my dressing room, I found a keycard by the way" and he tosses it in Chris' direction.

Leon looked at billy and grinned. "Well, you would've changed a helluva lot faster if he was." Leon pulled out his cell and sighed. " They seemed to have jammed long distance signals. Wait , I'll check the radio."
Whilst grabbing his radio he tought of something. The radio was working a while ago. " Mike... Mike come in. This is leon. Mike report."
.....eon?... hell.. ca..t.. f..k, not .afe.. backup
"Probably to far out. Well there go's our extraction on shot terms."

Chris got to his feet, brushing himself off, and stared down at the zombie's body. After a moment he grinned in a smart assed manner and said, "With a face only a mother could love..." He looked up and snatched the key card out of the air, then turned it over a few times, reading it. "Hmm, strange...I've never seen one like this before. It's got small geometries etched into the magnetic strip. No serial number either so we can't trace it. Other than that it's plain." He pondered over it for a moment then said "Bloody brilliant, one keycard to who know's what, and an entire city that could be hiding what it accesses." Chris looked over at Leon who was tinkering with his radio. "That reminds me..." Chris crossed the room and smashed his arm through a glass display case. He pulled out a couple of two-way radios and tossed one to Billy. "Leon will yours link up with these or do you need one too?"

Leon eyed the radio's and nodded." mine got a shot wave channel. shouldn't be a problem" he fumbled with the frequenty button until he got feedback out of all three radio's.
" Wow, well I guess there tuned in." He turned to exit the shop. " Well let's find the reader for that card key shall we. won't fin much by hanging around here." He grabbed the handle and walked out... only to see that the mall wan't as empty as it used to be. "Oh shit... guy's?? got enough ammo???" he said while unhostering his beretta. " This is gonna be a long night."

Billy took one of the radios from Chris and watched as Leon fine-tuned his.
Thinking by himself it had been awefully quiet from the time they got here, he couldn't feel relieved though.
After grabbing a bag and filling it up with rounds for the weapons they "purchased" he followed Leon who was on his way outside.
Seeing as Leon unholstered his beretta Billy dropped the bag and ran for the door clutching the shotgun Chris gave him.
"What's out there?"
The quiet had stopped but that didn't give him any relief though, except maybe that now he knew at least that they made sounds... it's always good being able to hear where your opponent is.
and then... silence, no moaning, no growling of any sort... only... shuffling.
*A sound of something breaking* and Billy looked from Chris to Leon as they were about to fight, Billy took an offensive stance to...

Upon seeing what Leon was talking about, Chris ducked around the side of the building and climbed the fire escape to the roof as fast as possible. Once there he unslung his sniper rifle, loaded it, and set the tripod on the buildings ledge as he knelt and sighted through his scope, making minor adjustments based of the wind and firing distance. "I'm set up here...got my crosshairs centered on the closest one's head. Just give the word Leon." Chris held his breath and waited...

Lon took a small step backwards and leveled his gun. They where slow, just like in 1998, nothing special, only... there where a lot of them.
The stench still the same, pieces of meat falling of their rotting bodies as they walked... no scrambled closer. He got out an earpiece and connected it to his radio, wich was attached to his belt. "Chris, I want you to take out the ones is the back as much as possible. Keep them from surrounding us. Billy and I will make sure none of these bitches get close to you." He sighed, comparing this to Spain.. well this was gonna be a walk in the park. "Fire at will.." Leon pulled the trigger and the first one went down. three.. four... five....

After unzipping the bag and strapping the shotgun in the side, Billy took his Beretta and took aim past Leon's left shoulder.
"Looks like they didn't notice us yet."
Unclipping his radio: "Testing, Chris can you hear me? I'd like an estimate of how many there're out ther-"

"O, what the hell lets test these things."
Suddenly Leon started shooting at the first few zombies out there and Chris made some quick shots to the rear.
All the "living" creatures now took their chance, when the firing paused, and ran to the door as fast as they could.
Firing his last shots, taking out 4 more: "Can't we barricade the door?"
"The windows have steel grids in front of them and I think we've all learned over the passed years that a few men can't take'm ALL out..." said a grinning Billy.
Pulling Leon by the back of his coat Billy took one last shot and closed the door.
Then they flipped over a table and pushed it in front of the door.
"Crud there's no other leaverage and we can't hold this forever..."
Putting his radio on speaker-mode: "Maybe we can lock this door with that key-card"
"Chris if you can get down here, we might have a use for that key-card right now..."
plan: Chris + key card + shotgun = key card + closing door from the outside (outside card slot)
The idea: that card key doesn't have to have only 1 purpose now does it? ^.^

Just as billy started firing his shotgun, leon ran dry. An empty clip clattered on the ground, and a new one was slid into his beretta.
Leon heards Billy scream something but was to busy keeping the zombies at range. the crowd was getting thinner and they just might be able to get trough. It would be a huge risk though.
Just as Leon wanted to ask Chris for advice he got pulled from behind, falling back into the hunting store.
"Fuck, no... Chris!!!"
He landed agains a closet and looked around dazed. "Damn, billy, what's that about? Chris is still out there."
He got up and looked around "You know, even if Chris was in here. This place wasn't exactly clean. There might be another way in. It's not safe here."

At the words "Chris is still out there." Billy startled...
"How were you planning on getting through that mob?"
"They'd only close us in and we don't know how many there are out there!"
After putting his back to the table he said: "Well then, ain't ya gonna look for a way out of here?"
"Come on radio Chris allready so we can get together again."
He thought to himself that he caused this mess by acting so impulsive so he'd be the one staying behind - keeping the door closed.
"Go on ahead and get Chris - We still got our radios connected so if anything goes wrong you'll be the first to hear!"

Just when Leon wanted to go outside to get Chris form the mob he heard another gun that sound familiar to him. WTF it can't be....
When Leon steps outside he sees an familiar face, the old friend from Spain. He is helping Chris to get rid of those pesky fans.
Luis turns his head around to Leon and shout: "Hi Leon, long time no see. Quick come help us with these things here please."
A second later a zombie jumps towards Luis and Luis take him out with a head shot and continued with eliminating the tread.

"wha.. Lui.. Luis???" For a second leon stood dazed, only to be shaken back into reality bye the zombies that where only inches away from him. Two broken necks and 4 bullets to the brain later he arrives next to Luis.
"Man, what are you doing here, how, why.."
Before he can get awnsers they get hit by another wave of foul reeking undead. Leon reloads and glances at Luis.
".... Good to have you back."

After Leon went outside through a side door Billy heard some shots and shouting and he saw over his shoulder that most of the mob was heading in another direction.
That's why there was almost no pressure on the door anymore because they were stupid enough to try going through the barred windows as well.
As the windows shattered Billy got sight of a couple of jerrycans, "Probably gassoline." he said to himself.
He tryed reaching one of them with the tip of his boot but he was far out of reach.
"If only I could let go for just a second" he looked around for another solution and saw that Leon left the gun bag with him.
Billy reached for the shotgun and popped in two shells.
Setting his shoulder to the table he went into a crouch - zombies clawing only inches away from him.
He quickly rose and shot one shell through the window kicked a jerrycan to the table and shot a second time.
After putting his back to the table again he started to make a gassoline trail from the table and over some of the creatures outside.
When he was satisfied about the amount of gassoline over the table and outside he tossed the can and it's remaining flammable content into the crowd.
he strapped the shotgun over his shoulder and grabbed the bag by his left hand.
"Darn this thing is getting heavy." and he lighted the trail starting a chain reaction right before leaving through the side door: bag in one hand, the second jerrycan in the other.
Kicking the door open he saw a lone zombie seemingly guarding it.
*MOOOOAAANNN!!*
"Goodmornin' sunshine!" said Billy before smacking the jerry can against the side of it's head.
He heard a snapping sound but didn't bother to check if it was truly dead.
He had to find to find Leon and Chris.
Hearing gunshots he ran to somewhere near the front of the store.
Where the fire was only just starting to do it's work...
